I don’t know about you but covid-19 is really causing my hypochondria to flare up.

Try guided meditation, that helps me with many different issues. There are a lot of good ones on youtube.

Not for me. I am not naive and hope that I, loved ones and friends don't contract the virus. I can do reasonable precautions. Other than that, I control nothing. And I don't sweat what I can not control.

Try it. It might help you to reduce your pot consumption, something I think you have been trying to do?

@MissKathleen Offering an alternate method of dealing with fear IS empathy.

@MissKathleen Not meant to be. Once one realizes that events have no emotions, aren't capable of caring about what you think, and that your emotions are under your control, your anxiety level goes way, way down. You relax, gain perspective. This is one of the foundations of Stoic philosophy. If you are curious, check out Daily Stoic and sign up for their daily emails. (I have no relation to the site. I just like it.)

@MissKathleen Good luck and stay safe

For me it's more my claustrophobia. I didn't want to fly till they said I couldn't and I didn't want to leave the state till they said I couldn't. Lockdown is going to be frustrating but at least I have a reasonable size home to rattle around in. I pity those people locked into small apartments with kids. That would have my need for space going into overdrive.

Yep! I love being a hermit in my own home... but suddenly if feels like I'm a prisoner. I self quarantined for 2 months Jan-Feb, because I was truly sick, and now that I'm healthy and itching to get out and do stuff, I'm stuck again. Very different now that I'm healthy!

@Julie808 Everyone's lawns on our street seem to be better cared for than ever before.

Mine too.

This endless rain is not helping things at all!

You'll be ok, yes it's scary,..remember you can control your own action and reactions. Take as many precautions for your personal health as you can. Then relax and breath.

always practice breath control to be safe ...

I say don't worry , wash your hands keep away from alot of people for now or people in general and only get concerned if you feel sick in the ways you hear people feel when they get these symptoms

A disease that you can't see,, and Incubates for 5 to 14 days or longer....and goes in the air.. as well as live on surfaces....and has the potential to kill you or your loved ones? The one where the medical establishment is over-run and not ready to accomadate the sick? What is your worry about that?

Personal hero from my youth: "What, Me worry? -Alfred E. Newman

@Philip21 hahah ok ok .... I have no clue.. but thanks.. i'll check it out ( embarrased look )

@AmmaRE007 I hope you don't get MAD when you finish googling ...

@AmmaRE007 Hang you head in shame. That was classic literature from our youth.

@Philip21 AmmaRE is too young to understand.
