While I don't see kids on bikes tossing rolled papers onto the porch , or more likely into the hedge , I do still find assorted advertisements spotting the yards and porches .

I think the routes around here are all driving routes. I made decent money delivering on foot, back in the day...

I haven't been in the US since 2010, but I was already reading the local newspaper online before I left.

That's a good idea.

I stopped getting a physical newspaper maybe 2 years ago, but prior to that, delivery was handled by adults throwing the news from cars. As newspapers continue to decline as viable businesses, I doubt we'll ever see paperboys or girls again.
