You are not fat-shaming. You are health-concerning. There is a big difference.

Finally; someone gets it. Thanks, Mitch.

Name any unhealthy thing and you’ll find it contributes to Covid, they’re called co-morbidities. Smoking, drinking, being a member of a contrarian anti intellectual religion that thinks mask cause Covid, even simple stupidity can all be added to the list. Being fat isn’t as bad as these I’ve listed.

Data? Facts? You're defending being overweight. I'm attacking it with facts and data.

Hypertension (high blood pressure), diabetes...all comorbidities that help COVID19 severity.

....and all aggravated and greatly exaggerated through excessive weight.

Sorry. You're wrong.

At first I thought "Shamming" was a spelling error and then I realized it was entirely accurate.

I know, right? I googled it..shaming or shamming...very astute!

Listen . Nobody went to the stores of bodies and chosen the fat one . Nobody was 13 and 14 and 15 once , and said “ I can’t wait to be a fat girl or a fat man one day “.
F nobody . Same ways people did not chosen any physical characteristics that are not pleasant to the eye , but given to them in the dice game of birth .
We can argue all day long that “ u can do something about been overweight , u can’t do much if u are born w 3 eyeballs “. True .
But not everyone has the ability to lose weight , the money ( yeah , healthy food takes $$ and conditions and situations ) , the time , or the strength to lose the extra weight . For some , it’s a vicious cycle of habits and addictions , and some they try hard , and still can’t achieve their goals .
U are right about covid and extra weight . No shit . Extra weight is mothering many health issues for many diseases .
Body shaming is a disease it’s self thou 🙁I just want u to know that . U never know what brought anyone to a fat body , and if it’s just “ they brought it to them selves “ attitude , still , u don’t know how and y , and it does not matter . What it matters is carrying each other home .
I don’t mean to be an ass and correct your view , just to tell u that I have treated through the years everybody . Fat , skinny , tall , short , beautiful , and “ breath taken”( Seinfeld ). All humans , all in tough positions when sick .

You yelled at me...I accept that. But as a health teacher I can't help myself any more than the obese person can.

I have to say some thing.

America's in deep trouble with this obesity epidemic...and if we don't slow it down some how there's going to be a lot of dead overweight people soon.

Check out this 10 second GIF of the US from '85 to '10.

@Robecology ughhh . I did not yelled at u 🙁. I am sorry that u got it as such 🙁.
I don’t disagree that obesity kills man , I know .
It’s ok , never mind my comment , I can delete if u want . Does not matter .

Please don't delete your comment. Actually, either of your comments, as you're both right. But while the Slate diagram illustrates the spread, it doesn't portray how the increase in obesity in this country is in direction proportion to the increase in lower income families which limit healthy food choices and exercise options, and the lack of adequate health care. Being healthy is a luxury in this country.

@Lauren agree ♥️🙁. Thank u ♥️

@Pralina1 No...I expected at least one...and I've loved overweight women before....so I know how hard it is to communicate the value of changing the diet....so I get it.

Again...as a health educator I know I'm a thorn in many sides....but I had to share that Bill Maher rant - he cites lots of data, and I hope you had a chance to look at the graph and the CDC data as well.

Here's the article that had the CDC gif.

I like Bill, and this is all correct, but I like him better when he is a comedian.

Watch the video. Bill has a unique ability to add humor to the most serious of issues...that's why I keep sharing his posts. He and Colbert are Masters of the art...

People who are very overweight often do have underlying health problems. People with underlying health problems don't do well with Covid. It's pretty obvious. Look at a Trump Rally. Those fat fucks will drop like flies 😥

I concur; but let's not call them "Fat fucks". They're sick people who society accepts and encourages - like many of the anti-fat-shammers that I've addressed.

Calling an overweight person any names only hardens their stance on overeating and giving up on fitness.

Be gentle and tolerant with the FF's of the world, please. They're just suffering a serious delusional syndrome.

I think it's called the "Dunning-Kruger" effect;

@Robecology Any opportunity to insult morons who attend Trump rallies I won't pass up on. When they act like savage animals I'm not going to engage in polite discourse. I don't care about their feelings. Fuck them. Donald Trump's a Fat Fuck as well.
