Over 260 kids get sick with COVID at one "sleep away" camp in Georgia

100% of attendees (youth staff, youth staff in training and attendees) had to provide "negative" COVID test results (within the preceding days) to attend this "sleep away" camp.

Staff was there 4 days prior to campers arriving. Within two days (2! TWO!) of the arrivals, the outbreak was so severe, campers and staff were sent home to quarantine.

There were 597 total people at the site. Test results were available for 344, of which 76% were positive.

The insanity just keeps coming and coming. I think the coronavirus has a helper virus that makes people stupid.

@SeaGreenEyez It's funny but I often get letters from the Democratic party with their stealth surveys but open pleas for money. I send everything back (at their expense) fill out the surveys and give them my opinion and declaration as independent. Now I have been getting letters from 'Pelosi' (more scams) and the first sentence is about how she raised 5 freaking kids and this qualifies her to lead. What a pandering crock and I sent the letter back telling them so.

@SeaGreenEyez Don't get me wrong as I admire her gutsieness. I really think she's being played by the party for the 'mommy' vote. Besides, I guess, since I have a landline, I'm part of the 99% lol
