You poor thing, Autumn’s on it’s way here. Was nippy walking back from dinner with the girls in my little frock and denim jacket. Have a you got a tub you can put cold water in for your feet, old cat litter tray or something?

I can remember growing up in the heat of north Florida with No air conditioning at all. You are lucky.

Same here in San Gabriel, CA (part of LA). Praise to William Carrier, engineer who invented AC which, by the way, it also keeps food in our refrigerators so we don't have to go to the market everyday.

I live in mid-Missouri and it's a sunny 86 outside on my porch and a comfortable 76 inside my mobile. So far today I have not run my ceiling fans or AC and my new electric bill is $65.67. I do not own a "cold machine" and keeping my place 70 degrees would freeze me to death !
