Imagine, you're dating for a month and have an amazing time. Then you are invited into his/her home and you find this.
What would you do? 🙂

I can understand a mess, but that is filth. I highly doubt that I would stick around.

You would if you leant on one of the surfaces !!!

@Nickbeee LMAO!!!!

@Qualia 🙂

@Nickbeee LOL!! Best laugh I've had today!

@Nickbeee That was hilarious! 😀

@Indubitably I'm really sympathetic to such things to be honest but it was just there in my head haha!!! 😮) good good lol

How the hell did you get a picture of my kitchen?

🙂 🙂

So glad I cleaned my kitchen today I was feeling bad about it.....not so much now lol

Same here!

Now I think I'll go clean up a little more of mine.

The first thing I noticed is the pack of cleaning sponges top centre, between the milk and metal bowl, which suggests the person who lives in the house intends to do something about it. I'd try very hard to get them the support they need to be able to do so.

Me too my friend. I wold help them and not screw them lol.

They are for cleaning the veg on the left not the kitchen

I could never date someone who put a dryer in the kitchen. Gauche.

7

See ya! Anyone who lives like this must have a whole host of other issues!

Yep. Adios.

6

Help clean it up if they are worth it to you.

Top man.

Nope. You'll be cleaning for the rest of your life.

6

That’s a brilliant idea! Now you can wash your dishes and clothes at the same time. Why didn’t I think of that?

6

I’m out of the fixer-upper business. I would move on.

5

Assuming good physical hygiene was being practiced, I'd just be honest and likely invite to my place. If he didn't understand what my concerns were then there would be a problem.

5

RUN! Hoarding is a real psychological issue, and if they’re not willing to work through those, that’s what you’re going to have to live with. If you can live with that... well then, go for it. But that will be your life from here on out.

So I guess you'll be eating out a lot. Hopefully.

Ask them if their fire insurance is paid up.

4

Call A&E and inform them of it , hopefully I can get on the show.

I have cleaned a lot of places that looked even worse then this place, if the whole house is like this they are pretty much on their own, for they have been for FAR too long now, prolly no saving them...but if this mess is religated to just the kitchen then they have been alone for far too long and just need some encouragement and help, I woulod bring in MY OWN cleaning products and a resperator just in case of mold, afrais to look what is hidden under the towel over the stove... but this def isn't a game ender by any stretch, if the dates are going well then there is hope, on saving them from themselves. I never say never unless it is absolutely unavoidable.

The person whose place it is got mental health issues for sure. I wouldn't be able to cope with it. Funny enough I experienced something similar once, not so extreme though. Run away .....

Probably safest emotionally in reality

3

Like the sage once observed, "There's no real need to do housework. After two or three years, it doesn't get any worse." As for dating, my mind just blew a fuse. 😛

3

That could be a deal breaker!

3

End it right then and there and suggest that she get some help.

3

There is too much going on here for me to get involved in. It would be very hard if I really liked him but, this old girl would have to say GoodBye and good luck.

3

Run like hell. That picture is spot on for my xx-mother-in-laws home. No joke, it's the same layout and everything.

3

Gotta go! Gotta go, right now.
That is one great, big red flag.

3

Ask him what's up with that?

2

Leave, but I very much doubt I would get involved with anyone this extreme in the first place. I'm no clean freak, but!
