The problem is that climate change is “years away from affecting me” . Americans have the attention span of the common gnat.

Hasn’t anyone watched Star Trek? We have to come together to fight the aliens! 👽

No one is coming to help us, not Gods nor Aliens.
It's our mess if we don't clean it up nothing will.

Someone told me yesterday that his voting decision came down to, "Who's going to put money in my pocket?" And then he complained, "Biden wants to get rid of oil! What if we have to fight a war?"

Fuck sake, man. Florida will be underwater in 50 years. There are more important things than a $50 tax cut. And someone somewhere is inventing solar-powered tanks as we speak.

exactly, we need to look ahead rather than being stuck on this old dirty technology which will surely be in the dust bin soon.

Exactly, and the same goes for the rest of the problems. The world’s full of whiny little bitches who want the rich, the politicians and anyone else but them to take control!

We all have a circle of influence: and need to use it well. When we look at what we’re supporting, with our vote, but more so our money...and watch the trail; is it going to big business with no ethics? Are you supporting: local business and jobs; fair trade; fair wages; good farming practices; sustainable power; pressure groups; or charities that try to make a change?

Because if you’re not taking control of your own business how can you expect other people to lols.

Is the cheapest deal really cheap when it’s eroding the environment and society that we want to live in?

Exactly what I am trying to explain to my son

The root of the problem here is a group that wants to rape and plunder the Earth without any worries from the EPA. In other words, corporations that want to profit without worrying or caring what the are doing to the environment. It follows that they do not care about individual healthcare, food, water, or air quality. To get around things of this nature successfully they have started political groups that slowly convince the public on these issues. Sides are taken and many end up claiming their imaginary friend in the sky is really in control so nothing matters. They are wrong. If anyone can see what I am saying this issue is much greater than what Trump or Biden believe. Some do not believe me here, but let's take it back to Citizens United. The door has been opened for corporations to enjoy freedom of speech without limit. What it means is that their giant dollars speak a lot louder than your lesser dollars. An understanding of this shows how things are controlled today. Maybe in time it will be 1900 again. Maybe even earlier than that. Names like Kock, Mercer, Devos, et al certainly hope so. Of course, that is for us and not for them. They openly want to be a ruling class without regard for others.

Citizens United must be overturned

Here's another voice we need to hear, speaking to the President and being HEARD!
