Thank you people...

Northern New Mexico. Lots of rice beans potatoes and CHILI red and green. at every restaurant they will ask if you want red or green chili sauce with almost every dish. TOrtillas ( a little like chapatis) and a leaning toward beef and pork

I live in Hippieville. Eugene, Oregon.

The grossest thing people eat around here is kombucha.

I really like tempe (fermented soy beans in patties). I’m fortunate that there’s a very good local company that I get mine from. We also have a good tea (Yogi), popcorn (Cosmos), and yogurt company (Nancy’s) here.

I mainly eat rice, tuna, beef, veggies, and fruit. I would love to go ocean fishing for my own tuna. I try to harvest as much of my food as possible. But I’ve only done chickens, squirrel, and fish.

I think in the US, the most focused/purchased foods are heavily preserved, sweetened, and salted. This is due to laziness and poverty.

cheers...

Living in Queens in Long Island N.Y. there are a tremendous amount of ethnic groups that reside here so I can easily go from one section to another in close proximity. Their are Indian,Mexican,Korean ,Italian ,Cajun,,Spanish, Filipino Jewish,Greek,Asian ,Just to name a few . My favorite place is an all you can eat Japanese sushi bar near my home that I eat at on a regular basis .Manhattan which is about 12 miles from my house of course has everything ,I like china town and little Italy when I go there .

I can't speak for everybody else, but I tend to keep it pretty simple. Pizza, Beer, French Fries, Tacos, and the occasional vodka martini.

Us too. Louisiana in the United States. I find food here to have extra spices. Peppers, bay leaves, onions, celery, paprika. I could go on and on. Ive had some India foods. No disrespect please. I have never had true India food so i can't say that i would appreciate it. I know im not fond of curry. I hope i spelled it right. But you may not appreciate parmesan cheese which i love. I love foods from different countries and cultures. That makes life interesting. I have had real Italian spaghetti and i don't care for they way they cooked it for me. I like it hot to the taste and a little sweet. Good topic.

Good old stroke belt in n.c. lots of fried chicken, collards with pork fat, hush puppies, banana pudding, sausage and biscuits, cheese straws ....delicious!

Charlotte's become a great restaurant town. Come down and try some.

Basmati rice is the best rice in the whole damn universe. I love that stuff.

I tend to vary my diet to include cuisine from many cultures, but if you go to where I'm from (a small town in the middle of Nebraska 150 miles away from anything even remotely resembling a city), if it doesn't say hamburger or hot dog on the package, it's not considered food.

Hence, one of the main reasons why neither of us lives in Nebraska anymore.

🙂

In india hamburgers and sandwiches are considered rich foods.

Ours is a country which have almost one third population in Poverty.

Our basic food will be rice and wheat.

And whatever else you eat depends on your social status and economic capability.

I am from a middle class family so i have access to hamburgers, noodles and all that.

But I know people who have not seen a burger or heard about KFC McD etc etc
