I believe I read that the government decided that they were not accepted as a legitment church , but to the best of my knowledge they are non-profit .

They are non-prophet as well. Equally entitled to be a religion if Scientology is called a religion.
I think so.
I've seen people get thee DL photos with colanders on their heads.
It is really difficult to declare something is NOT a Church.
