curiosity,,,,,,,,when your small child asks you a question that you cannot answer for whatever reason, it is tempting to just make up something that will do for now......so,,,,,think cave man trying to explain thunder and lightning,,,,sunlight,,,,,yearly cycles .....fertility,,,,,,,,,,,,,.......well, you can probably create a god for that, which gets refined and embroidered as the ages pass and here we are.
