I love the idea. It is about time atheists entered politics and dominate the power structures.

Nonbelievers have been on defense and just taking a beating for hundreds of years.

I'm afraid of the state of the Supreme Court just now.
I'm not sure we have enough safeguards in place to prevent the huge societal damage they could do.
An article at Salon[salon.com] noted in passing...

It's unclear whether the Satanic Temple's strategy of appealing to the Biden Administration will work. Last year, the group tried to overturn abortion restrictions enacted in the state of Missouri, but the Supreme Court declined to hear their case.

Don't think Biden appointed anyone to the Supreme Court. Please explain your logic on how this is on the Biden administration.

@UrsiMajor
I don't remotely blame the Biden administration for this.

I copied the text from the link which happened to say that "The "nontheistic" organization[RCC: The Satanic Temple], which is headquartered in Salem, Massachusetts, joined the legal fray this week by sending a letter to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration demanding access to abortion pills for its members."

The FDA is of course part of the executive branch of the government -- the Biden administration.

It will be very interesting to see what the court does with this request.
