Wow, I'm relieved. I thought everyone was talking about me. I considered SAYING I did smoke dope. I want to be cool.

Non smoker. Never smoked in my life.

Same!

Plenty of us non-smokers here. I have personally never seen the point. I don't get drunk either. I like my mind the way it is - I don't want to get out of it.

Nope, it's not for me. My primary partner likes it, and I've tried it a few times, but I don't like how it makes me feel.

I've never noticed a connection between pot and atheism, but I'm part of both groups. I was diagnosed and treated for brain cancer in January 06, the most aggressive and lethal form that comes with a median life expectancy of 16 months and a group of 2% that make it 5 years. I still battle seizures and depression, but have found pot to be the best health supplement I've ever experienced. I smoke daily and will until I die, expecting that won't happen for a very long time thanks to my decision to keep my endocannabinoid system running on high, pun intended. Every now and then I get intense headaches, but have determined that's the THC killing the promised recurrence.

Blimey, that's a tough place to be. All the best to you, fella.

@DaveMania Given what I've been through, I am thriving. Depression is the most thing to treat, and cannabis helps with that too, except only short term and requiring frequent re-dosing. I'm beyond taking care of myself. I do some public address announcing and golf in the low 80s, occasionally breaking into the 70s.

Never tried pot or any drugs and I don’t drink, tried it a few time just not my thing.

I have never done any drugs, have never tasted beer or any hard alcohol and sipped less than a half glass of wine total in my life. Further that is simply who I am....totally happy with my ongoing state of consciousness. I couldn't care less what ANY others think about those choices on my part, never have, never will.

Haha... Nope. I've never done the stuff, except for one time, aged about 19, when I ate my way through an entire eighth of resin and had the worst friggin' night of my life and felt squiffy for a week.

That was a 'never again' moment. But I think the majority of people I've ever known would partake of pot fairly regularly... Easily 70% of 'em.

I don't either.

No

Tried it in college in the '60s. Not since.

Lol, I never did, I plan to use the oil tho but not smoking the leaf

I don't smoke, but support legalization. Hopefully, the cannabis community will someday support legalizing our fungal friends in return. Although that is a once in 5 years adventure for me.

I'm not sure how one has anything to do with the other, but I do smoke pot. Does it seem commonplace?

2

I don't smoke anything. I'll try weed maybe once every 5 years.

I don't smoke pot... I just had guests here who did... OMG the whole house stinks LOL I sent them outside.

No you are not I avoid being around the ptsd of marijuana toxic organic smoke. Pot heads esp the expensive potheads are nothing more than drug chauvinists. It is absurd that in SF they have made flavored tobacco products illegal yet you can smoke marijuana with impunity and annoy people with the toxic smoke that gives an experience similar to paranoid schizophrenia.. So rest assured a good 15 percent of the population is either allergic to marijuana or has a really bad reaction to it psychologically. The absolute worst drug experience I have ever had was under the influence of marijuana, it's toxic toxic toxic for some people esp if you are hypotensive or have severe anxiety or severe depression. Anyone with schizo affective disorder or the most common form of schizophrenia should avoid it like the plague.

I am a Vietnam combat vet and I use to smoke but like you are saying it makes me feel extremely bad since my early 20's , it is just not a good drug neither are cigarettes !! But pot did come in handy when I was on Chemo , used it in my tea really helped with the side effects of the chemo !!

3

No. Never have, since I have very strong reservations about deliberately inhaling any sort of smoke.

Mark Twain smoked and drank. When he got the Lumbago, his doctor told him to stop. He did and the Lumbago when away. He met a woman on a cruise who described the same symptoms. He told her to stop drinking and smoking. She said she didn't do those things. He said she was like a "moral pauper... Why one or two bad habits might have saved her... She was like a sinking ship with no freight to throw overboard..."

2

No, you're not.

2

I don't either until I can get some more. I'm in a rural mormon area.

5

I don't...I'm totally for legalization, but it makes me feel terrible.
