I'm a non-religious human but wow I did not know that I came from China. How that happened?
A conscious choice or parents' upbringing. Do you have an elementary school nearby?
Thanks for asking.
Doesn't china believe that their leader(not sure what title they have) is their god and religion? I'm asking because I don't know and don't feel like looking it up right now.
Believing in an invisible super power in the heaven is different from leader adoration and glorification on Earth.
The fear about of not obeying the super power in heaven is make-believe. The fear of not obeying a real human leader is real
The old emperors were regarded as gods and I believe in the minds of many people there, Chariman Mao was regarded as a god. Of course, the leader of North Korea, Kim Jong-un is probably feared, not so sure about, revered as god.
The Chinese do not have a word for God and the nearest equivalent would be Ziran, which, translates as the way of nature.
