My take on this is that the school was going to fix it themselves but only after telling the cops to get warrants. Hazing is now illegal so in the end nobody did anything about the assault.

Yet another reason to tax the shit out of ALL churches and religious "schools".

Hazing has been illegal since 1987 in Texas, in 2019 the law was updated removing any protections for administrators that did not report to law enforcement as well as expanding the definition of hazing. They should have known better, and I'm sure they did, but they depended on secrecy to protect them. Where's your god now?

If only Penn State had been in Texas.
