He would have excelled had the Soviet empire lasted. He has the Soviet mindset.
RussRAB Putin was spat out and hatched by the soviet winter, I REFUSE to say he was born like other decent humans are and were btw.
I'm slightly guessing here but IMO, he sees himself as Lenin, Stalin and the other so-called, Great Leaders of the Soviet Union, re-name it for what it TRULY was please, Soviet Empire of Inhumanity, Cruelty, Slavery, Human Slaughter and Degradation, etc, etc, ad infinitum and prior to the collapse of the U.S.S.R. he held an UPPER level position in the K.G.B. ( aka Killers of Girls and Boys).
trump thought Putin a peacekeeper. Actually, he is a piece-keeper .... a piece or two (or more) of Ukraine, a piece of the Baltic states, a piece of Belarus, etc. And he would want to keep them all.

@Gwendolyn2018 - trump stated that Putin was genius relating Putin's declaration that Ukrainian territories were independent. Trump then said Russia would enter these territories as "peacekeepers". trump thought this was genius and said he thought something similar should be done on the US southern border.

@Gwendolyn2018 - Somehow, I think trump had more of an idea of repeating what was done with Texas with more of Mexico's territory than being concerned with Mexico wanting and trying to take Texas back.
It seems to me that it's the other way round: Putin shitting on the Dove of Peace...
