They're so pro-life, that they want to kill you.

Another Texas GOP lawmaker is attempting to make abortion punishable by the death penalty

Texas puts mopre people to death than any other state, but it hasn't reduce violent crimes.

The reason is that it isn't really an actual deterrent, because the people committing the crimes don't believe, or consider that, they will be caught.

And yeah, in this particular case the "pro-life" label is hardly appropriate. Some of today's Christians would have lustfully attended the Roman gladiator games, or even gleefully watched people pitted against lions. Blood lust is common among fanatics.

Texas white voters are now out numbered!!!

The only way these full fledged Fascist religious obstructionist republicans can stay in power is by creating anti social laws with no voting rights for non whites and abortion to please the Jesus loves me so group of insane people who live within a scare paranoia world that anyone not like them is out to kill all of them and steal everything not nail down that they think they actually worked for!!!

These fascist are actually a minority in Texas just like the rest of this country and the planet!!!

Until they are eliminated and imprisoned them for crimes against humanity, nothing will change!!!

The great reset they think is their ticket to absolute power and wealth!!!

They can not kill off enough of us since we outnumber them one hundred to one!!!

Just waiting for them to drop their balls, making them the most vulnerable!!!

Cool it. In most if not all legislative bodies, newly introduced bills go to committees where most of them die. Be concerned when bills survive committees.

This is Texas, most of those awful bills they come up with do pass and are made law down there. I lived down there for decades and saw it happening Year after year.

No extreme is too much for them but Dem’s fight abortion wrongly (IMO). We should address the religious reason for their demand and settle this permanently at the root.

Please describe …settle this permanently at the root. Who does what? How do people know when it’s settled?

@yvilletom I think dogmatic religion is the root of most of society's problems and that this is not an unforeseen circumstance. We are just not recognizing that the time for battle is upon us. Battles are won by recognizing such moments and directing all resources to their victory. Truth becomes a casualty, wounded but not dead, in this battle and strategy becomes everything. Abandon the silly arguments about details. If it achieves mutual positive political movement then go with it. Once dogmatic religion has been slain we can focus on details but the death warrant will be written as Legislation. Until then a solution is not binding law. This would be a great message for Dems to start pushing for. I also mean ALL dogmatic religions or their symbols. None of it is acceptable within OUR legal structure or institutions.

😑 I detest all these white repub men! I guess asking for them to do something about the men who impregnate the women is too much? I think a Vasectomy for all men at the age of say 12, would help! They can get it reversed when the Marry and want kids!

It's no mere coincidence that many Texans are in the sway of Bible-thumping, patriarchal, wacko fundamentalist Christianity. Get rid of that and many other problems go away too.

@Flyingsaucesir I don’t think anyone can get rid of that religious bullshit fast enough for me! I lived down there a few decades and watched things go downhill with religious bigots and their beliefs.
