It's not going to happen.
Griswold, Loving, and the other cases will stand.
They are under no threat from Republicans.
Maybe not nationwide, but 8n certain states...who knows. Time will tell.
The Supreme Court is not going to decide to kick Griswold v. Connecticut back to the states.
It's definitely not going to decide to kick Loving v. Virginia back to the states.
Want proof? Here's a picture of Mitch McConnell with his RICH little China girl.
@BD66 The cases may stand, but conservatives will still find ways to attack interracial couples, LGBTQ folks,...
@Flyingsaucesir You need to get out and meet more conservatives. How do you think Clarence Thomas is going to rule on this one?
@Flyingsaucesir Here's another good article. Evidently even some white supremacists like Asian women.
Nobody will be passing any anti-miscegenation laws any time soon.
@Flyingsaucesir This might be the only issue where you will find agreement between Clarence Thomas and Ketanji Brown Jackson.
@BD66 Okay you made your point. Miscegenation laws are not coming back. Thanks for the reality check.
Yup, queer and transgender people are the next targets, followed by interracial marriage. The goal is make marriage only between straight folks of the same race and to return women to before they could vote or have any other rights, like owning property, having credit, etc. Reproductive rights is the first crucial step to returning women to the property of men or maximum dependence on men.
It could happen. But then other things could happen instead. Better things. Let's hope.
