Giant's femur
In the late 1950s, road construction in southeastern Turkey in the Euphrates Valley excavated a series of burials with giant-sized remains. In two, femur bones about 120 centimeters long were found.
Joe Taylor, director of the Fossil Museum in Crosbyton, Texas, USA, conducted the reconstruction.
The possessor of a femur of this size was about 14-16 feet tall (about 5 meters) and had a foot size of 20-22 inches (almost half a meter!). His toes were 6 feet above the ground when he walked.
This is a hoax. Also, the bone ignores actual biology. When you double the size of a creature its weight increases exponentially and therefore its leg bones (such as those of elephant) would need to be significantly thicker.
The tallest human on record stood nearly 9 feet tall and weighed 439 pounds and had difficulty walking and eventually required leg braces even though he was only in his 20's.
Even Andre the Giant, who was a mere 7 feet tall, had considerable back pain later in life.
Also, the fact that these "giants" are virtually unheard. If these giants were real it would be on the cover of science magazines and hailed as one of the most important archaeological finds in modern history.
