Haven't had a girlfriend in 14 years. Part of it is obviously religion as the scarcity of atheist meeting points means there's electronic blockage too. Atheists don't seem to believe in physical buildings or the IRS confiscated them all?

What do you suggest? Anyone know how to solve this through the UN Human Rights? Suggesting guns after the freedom of expression like the Bill of Rights might not be friendly.

I've been an atheist since early teens. I never had trouble finding a date. You must have other problems.

That too but atheism is definitely up there.

@BananaFlambe I never even had the subject come up.

Over the past 14 years which hand do you prefer?

You make no sense, write out of context, post upside down pic but no bio. Get real or leave. Please.

WTF do you mean by: "Atheists don't seem to believe in physical buildings or the IRS confiscated them all? What do you suggest? Anyone know how to solve this through the UN Human Rights? Suggesting guns after the freedom of expression like the Bill of Rights might not be friendly."

Let's face it, atheists have a physical presence problem. Perhaps it's an old English laugh that leaves that 'a' prefix impression in town. The word lacks the assertion of a theory that theists rely on for comfort.

@BananaFlambe that's your opinion, not a fact.

Start by not having your picture upside down in your profile.

I would guess that he doesn't have it that way in his dating site profile. If he doesn't know already, he will soon figure out that Agnostic is not a place to meet a girlfriend, since the site has very few active members left these days, no matter where you live...

I'm currently doing the online chat thing with a nurse wannabe that I found in MeetMe. I'm aware of scams and how they work. This gal seems legit so far but she also appears religious. The last thing in this world that I need is someone grieving for me because I do not, cannot, and never will again believe in their invisible man.

Could try sex with many of ones who say they are more spiritual rather than religious for pratice. Fake it till you make it untill a nice atheist girl comes along.

A few decades ago, I slept with a Mormon who afterward wanted me to pray with her. That didn't happen. Oddly, or maybe not so oddly, years later I met someone who had a similar experience.

@Beowulfsfriend

Mormons are too hard-core Religious. Although a went out with a few, that told me, they were spiritual rather than Religioious. And they still dumped me because I couldn't be save. Liars are the worse.

@Castlepaloma While in social work, I met a few unmarried Mormon women with multiple kids. I have read- don't know the veracity- that some Mormon groups will honey trap men with one woman and then set them up with a "goodly" woman for marriage and joining.

I would suggest throwing a larger net if you hope to catch a fish worth keeping. Join dating sites or consider dating someone who may believe but not care about it so much.

I have complaints on dating sites...profiles look like MLS listings.

I'm sure living in GA doesn't help. All the non-believers probably either live in Athens or the Atlanta area. You seem to live in that area, so you may have way more luck than me.

The UN's human rights list says a lot doesn't it? Do you know any countries in compliance?

I respectfully disagree.
I'm in southern Georgia, and have not suffered from a lack of male interest.
Unfortunately, every man around here who has expressed interest, has been a bible-thumper. That makes them of no interest to me.
Fortunately, I have been in a committed relationship with a fellow atheist, and former member of this site.
Prior to that, I had decided that being alone was better than dealing with a believer.
Been there, done that, burned the t-shirt.

Welcome to this site. I found an atheist Meetup group in Atlanta. Have you explored any of the meetup groups for secularists?

Athens has one too.

I've been active in the past but I don't have transportation there at the moment. Family problems (they aren't atheist)

@BananaFlambe

Your post doesn't make sense. You wrote:

"Atheists don't seem to believe in physical buildings or the IRS confiscated them all?"

An atheist, I live in a building like most people. Why would the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) kidnap me? I file my U.S. 1040 tax return every year.

Scratches head.
