So are the men on earth all Gods who created the God that was given credit for creating men.
It's a head spinner. I don't think that I am a God, then again I don't believe in the imaginary God that supposedly created me, and I didn't make him up and created him. My parents and forefathers made him up. Oh no! Are my parents and forefathers Gods?

My powers are pretty much gone these days. The state of my neuropathy says that I could live another 10 years.
Religion was in the background in my family until I had a sister who never made it home from the hospital after birth. My mom and stepdad wanted to know how this happened and were concerned with where my sister went. They bought into the lies of religion and brought me into it bigtime while I was still in high school. They thought they had all the answers and for a time I did too. There is no need of a god and nobody has all the answers.

No, I suspect your parents/forefathers bought into the hysteria, or did as they were told. As the god believers mostly had control it was easier to go along rather than make waves. My dad and my grandfather were doubters, but chose to go along outwardly rather than buck the establishment. They were poor laborers so didn't have much clout. I went along with the BS for a long time.

Ye a group of misogynistic men to control the peoole and to keep women and anyone that is different down and subservient.
An awful lot of women have carried the holy water for this god over the centuries and females seem to be more concerned with spiritual ideas. Men largely get concerned to make money off the women.
