Fer damn sure. I live right on top of the Ogallala Aquifer, this has been our fear since the inception.

Hopefully this will drive a stake in the heart of the fossil fuel industry.

@Flyingsaucesir not likely. The only thing that could do that would be if they ran out of money to flood Capital Hill with.

@Barnie2years If we don't get off fossil fuels, we're going to piss off Mother Nature. She's already fit to be tied.

@Flyingsaucesir Few in Congress will live long enough to be affected by it. But if they want to keep loafing around in the halls of the Capital, they need those big bucks the fossil fuels companies provide in buckets. It will be a long time before any meaningful legislation is passed. Have to get the Congressional fossils out of there first. Oh, and the Republicans, who have never seen an oil dollar they didn't love.
