I had a nightmare last night--the first one in quite some time.

My bedroom is the mother-in-law room attached to my garage. The room is large, but has what amounts to a closet with a commode in it. Last night, I dreamed that I was in bed, the door to the water closet (you Brits will get that) was open and the toilet came to life and started leaking like crazy.

I demanded to know why it was leaking so much and demanded that it stop. It laughed at me. I got out of bed, still telling it to stop. It asked me what I was going to do to make it stop. I said, "I'll get a repairman over here! He'll stop you!" Then, to really make the thing scared, I said, "No, wait! I'LL CALL THE REPAIRMAN AND HAVE YOU TAKEN OUT AND GET A NEW COMMODE!"

I don't know if it stopped leaking because I woke up just then. I turned on the light, and the commode was quietly setting in the closet.

Nightmare.

At least you will fix things even if you have to replace them. The commode knew that too. 🙂

I started to write a story about the previous owners of my parents' house in Mesa but I decided not to give you any ideas for future nightmares.😋

It wasn't anything graphic or anything and we never saw any ghosts (none of us believe in that sort of thing anyway). But it was the sort of unpleasant story realtors are expected to tell prospective buyers.
The previous couple did go on the Jerry Springer show but I didn't see it.

Fortunately we are and were too numb (I guess) to be at risk for nightmares. Ha, ha.

As nightmares go, that was pretty tame! LOL
