I finally met another Agnostic Dot Com member today! I popped over from Kaua'i to Oahu to spend the day with @MissKathleen and we had a lovely time together!

She picked me up at the airport, we went and had acai bowls breakfast and made our way to the north shore to explore the Waimea Valley. We got there in time for the free botanical garden tour, just the two of us and Jordan our guide, and then took the tram (rather than walk) up the path to the waterfall.

Due to recent rains, the water was a bit brown, so I was happy not to swim in the pool under the waterfall, but we did pose for photos for each other! I'll let Kathleen post any photos I took of her that she cares to.

So, first in my set of 4 photos is a heliconia in the garden along our tour. Second is me on our garden tour, photo taken by Kathleen. Third is Waimea Falls. Fourth is me by the falls, taken by Kathleen!

Then we went back down to the farmers market in the visitor center to see what they had there. Didn't buy anything there, but we drove for a bit of shopping on the way back to town. Kathleen showed me where she's staying. We freshened up, and went out for a dinner of grilled ono fish plate lunch. Perfect! Then it was time for me to get back to the airport for my flight back to Kaua'i!

What fun it was to meet someone I've only known virtually for the past few years!
