This is Outrageous! Write your congressman.

Pres. Trump says he'll soon sign executive order "to create a 'faith initiative' at the White House," which will "help ensure faith-based organizations have equal access to government funding and the equal right to exercise their deeply held beliefs."

SEPARATION. OF. CHURCH. AND. STATE. Maybe someone can read the Constitution TO him?

This is gonna be a fight for sure. What pisses me off is that he and his cronies know that.

The only part of the Constitution they care about is the 2nd Amendment.

But first make sure you mention how big his hands are first...just to grab his attention the way he grabs....well you get the point. I haven't need to say more.

I think the Constitution would have to be on Fox News for him to pay any attention.

It would be a little different if his doing this was based on his beliefs. But it's blatantly obvious this has more to do with pandering to his supporters.......

& to distract. He knows it'll cause a brief uproar & attention will be away from the new holes that're getting drilled deeper in his ass by Guilliani's statements.?

I heard that the WH chaplain was dismissed because he was a Catholic Jesuit - major members of Congress want an Evangelical as chaplain - married, with children. The Evangelicals put chump in the Oval Office, they'll do anything to keep him there. He's the second coming - and he makes every effort to keep them onside. Nearly 80% of them approve of this monster. America is sorely belittled by him.

.

He and his faith based supporters have something in common: They're Liars.

2nd coming disguised...If the shit they believe were true I would assume there is 666 under that cotton candy funky hair

He is the mostgodless person I know. Actually the other day I was thinking how imperfect god seemed to me even as a kid. Esp book of Job. But to me Trump fits what so think about the god I learned about. Needs to be worshippedreeks havoc if not worshipped. He is the center of everything he is the best smartest all knowing...sound familiar...surprised Trump didnt say he was omnipotent.

@Philosopearl of course...biggly and greatest is the extent of it

Whoops! Not again!!! Does this crap ever stop?!!!!

It is such a worry that the leader of the most powerful nation on the planet is a primitive. Sure, our leaders are too, but at least they are not in a position to affect much outside their own playpen.

7

The Handmaids Tale has begun. We’ll all be leaving this totally fucked up country now.

7

Happened today-outrageous.

Faustian Pact....although, one needs to have a moral code in the first place doesn't he?

7

I believe he's already done this! Send a few dollars to Freedom From Religion Foundation...TODAY!

Best part about Freedom From Religion (besides the great work they do) is you can claim it when you file your taxes!

6

Then let's take away their TAX EXEMPT status!!! Make all of the non-tax paying blowhards pay taxes on all the money they have been raking in. Let's see how well that idea goes over in the so-called faith based community.

I'm a product of Catholic schools. We prayed a lot in school along with going on retreats and attending Mass, having Catechism and religious classes every day. My kids were raised Jewish went to a public school. No religions should be allowed in pun blic schools.

Why is the impeachment taking so long???!!!

N7EIE Level 6 May 3, 2018

Lols. [telegraph.co.uk] apparently his chances of impeachment are at an all time low.

@girlwithsmiles Yeah I know, really PISSES me off. Only choice is to vote out the re-piggy-cans in November!

@girlwithsmiles I know. I feel like that too more recently.

This is like something from a dystopian novel. Can that be allowed? Some laws must be being broken there?

It will be challenged and the prick knows it.

If this passes, my agnostic beliefs do not allow me to contribute to religious organizations, therefore, I won't be able to pay my taxes.

Good luck with that.

As a Canadian Immigrant living in the USA whom has to renew greendcard next year I try to stay out of talking about politics and have not been on facebook for over a year in fear that I will give into the temptation to speak out in how I feel on this particular topic and effect the application process (if only delay it).

That being said, my husband however is a Veteran of the US Navy I will ask him to do so. His words may carry more weight than mine in this. He does still believe in god (former catholic) but has become very anti religious over the years and believes in seperation of church and state just as much as I do.

I have already started to notice an increase this last year with Christian symbols and other propaganda (Noah's ark stickers in school vending machines, church group advertising etc.) at our sons elementary school which is a public school. It wouldn't bother me so much if they included other religions but do not. Its starting to seem like it's regressing back to where it was when I was in high school during the first few years of the Bush administration (maybe even worse) when the bible thumper kids felt empowered to openly bully the kids not christian and very few people stood up to it.

Thank you for posting this! There needs to be awareness in what's going on if there is any chance it is to be stopped. I try to remain optimistic but I fear my optimism will soon be in need of a vacation.

This reminds me of the year my kids went to public school in Snellville Ga. (I called it whoville. My son lives science from the start and we did not fit in moving from the Keys to Ga. I got a call get on the vice principle that during class the 2nd grade teacher asked the class if they knew whose birthday they were celebrating during the Winter break. My son raised his hand and said, "my mom." The teacher said ok and another child said, "Jesus." My son then asked who Jesus was and was told the son of god. To which he blurted out to the teacher, after being quiet thinking a few minutes. "You do know this god thing is just a theory, don't you. I feltbremiss in at least telling him the jesus story.but told the VP that since there was seperation of church and state it was a comment that was a response to the teachers statement.
I did tell them (my 2 children) I was raised Lutheran and we didn't go to church because I didn't believe in the story or that Jesus considered himself god..and mote but not relevant to post

Also non profits already have access to grants..it is him just sucking up so his base can justify themselves backing such a vile ignorant dishonest man.

He is a fool.

Those folks should already be paying taxes as it is.

Wasn't it F---ing Karl Rove who started using the Christian right to vote for Republicans by amping up abolishing abortion, and protecting Christians.

This fool has not read the Constitution concerning the separation of church and state.
