Haha - yeah, everything old is new again. I continue to be amazed at the similarities of the core tenets of different religions and belief systems, whether eastern or western, whether from AD or BC. Each put their different cultural spin on it, adding in beliefs or era specific dogma, but the core all remains the same. If it spans the globe and many centuries in time, there must be something to it. This notion struck me decades ago, and the more I learn, the more I believe it to be true.

I see it as well. What fascinates me is the relationship other conscious beings have with God. Spiritual knowledge is pretty clear on humans' relationship with God but what of that of aliens? What of aliens that have different emotions than humans do? It's very interesting to me.
