We're through the looking glass here, a former president and shoe-in for the GOP nomination faces vast criminal and civil prosecution. Yes, some or all of it it politically motivated ... but that Trump committed countless crimes definitely was a gift to prosecutors. Baring some new development, it's going to be a sheetshow if Trump wins or loses in 2024. Interesting times indeed.

The evidence that the prosecutions of Trump are politically motivated is the same as the evidence that the 2020 election was stolen. Claiming either demonstrates political dishonesty and depravity.

Suppose the GOP nominates Trump in 2024.

If he loses he will throw a bigger shit show than he did after the 2020 election.

Yes, that's my fear, he will be all about retribution.

Donald Trump is a disease.

Agreed.

No, he's actually the symptom. The disease, is how much of an unresponsive plutocracy our political system is, equally the fault of both major parties, and the system of legalized bribery, that has left the voters, those of whom still bother to vote, with only two corrupt parties to choose from, neither of which gives a damn about their welfare or concerns. So all that paves the way for con artists like Trump to be able to convince gullible, angry, white working class people into thinking he cares about them and will change things to benefit them. So here we are......

@TomMcGiverin Yes, the RNC spent decades grooming their base for someone like Trump to come along.

@Druvius Yup, all the years of dog whistle appeals to the racists and haters in the party, paved the way for Trump to come along, and start saying the quiet parts out loud...
