I got to get publicly cranky at work on Thursday and I thought it was great fun!!! My manager is retiring, and company bigwigs from Virginia were massed in front of her office as they gathered to go to her farewell luncheon. Well, my desk is the first one outside of her office, and I field phone calls all day. My caller said they could not hear me over the chatter, so I put the caller on hold and and turned to the crowd, got their attention, and told them to pipe down. And I didn't say it that nicely, I channeled my inner drill sergeant/mom. I did explain I my caller was not able to hear me, and they sheepishly trotted off to the break room. My manager came by later and apologized for them. Some of the clothing in that crowd cost more than my monthly paycheck if I am any judge of fashion. Let's hear it for the underdog.

I believe I am approaching Maximum Crankiness.........

a damn good idea, the seeds have been sown for 70 years now is the time for them to come forth . I shall endeavor to be a lot more crankier.
