I see the Muslims and the Jews are at war now. You realize they are fighting at the base level over what the definition of God is.
It is strange because our faiths/religions/beliefs/ at a basic level are all the same. It's all the nonsense social and cultural stuff that gets in the way.
What we need in the Middle East is understanding and empathy. The problem is not too big to solve if the people are brave enough to put aside what doesn't matter for what does.
Let's hope for a swift end to the conflict and a return to peace through open communication, empathy, and mutual respect.

I totally disagree. The are fighting for basic resources and the right to live in their own countries. The Jews have been pushing the Palestinians further and further into a corner. Now there is a plan to house even more Jewish immigrants in Palestinian territory. Also, the so called deal to broker a deal with the Saudi's to recognize Israel will push the Palestinian's even more in a corner. This is plain and simple a population issue and the Jews are growing exponentially at the expense of the Palestinian People. Desperate people do desperate things and the people who were forced to share their land with another tribe has led to this problem. The differences in their religion only exacerbates the problem.

@FvckY0u When resources start to dwindle people compete and fight. That's the way it's always been and will always be. The land can support only so much and it is used up. Even the Dead Sea is a tiny fraction of what it once was. The Israeli's are the stronger force and because of the holocaust most developed countries are on their side. Problem is they have become like their former oppressors. I know a lot of Jews who have left the religion because of what is happening in Israel (former Palestine). This will be a small preview of what will happen globally if we don't get our act together and stop adding more rapers and pillagers of the planets natural resources. * Billion humans is waaay past the Earth's carrying capacity.
Well that "peace" didn't last long. Can't wait to hear the call from the nutters on the right, "this wouldn'ta happened if trump were in the WH".
Nice thought but the munitions folks need money, does not matter who's buying. The guys making the deadly toys are the real problem, their influence over elected officials can not be ignored.

The nutters on the right are the ones who also support Netanyahu who 'is a criminal. His ploys to change their government to give him a free pass to stay our of jail (sound familiar) has caused even the Jewish citizens to rise up against him. How convenient this is happening at this time. However, it has been coming for a long time but how convenient for Ben.
I do not support Nuttiyahu but I aware that he said this must stop. He has also said that if you are a Hamas member you are " a dead man." I believe him. Let's stop the terror before he calls for the nukes.
No, all religions are not the same, and despite their own claims, even the Jews and Muslims do not worship the same god. Religion and gods do not come out of anything except human culture, and humans create gods and cultures in their own image, every human creates a different god and every culture a different religion. So that if you have a dispute with your neighbor, over ownership of a bit of land, then you create a god who is a a property rights lawyer.
And while it is possible there may be a great cosmic intelligence or force uniting the universe. ( I am agnostic to that degree, though I doubt it. ) It does not inform or adjust human culture, or play any part in making the false gods and religions of which that is built.

There is no land there to be given to Palestinians even if they are "good little boys." This means peace will never come to this area.
@DenoPenno Sorry ? The Arabs and Jews live quite happily together until the land was flooded with Jews from Europe and the USA. Houses were taken from Arabs and given to Jewish immigrants andPalestinian Arabs were forced from their land and settlers built illegal settlements. You are right about one thing ,there is unlikely ever to be peace in the area.

There will be war in this region for the rest of your life and your children's children's children's children's children's lives. Understanding and empathy? Actually, Muslims, Jews, and Christians all worship THE SAME god. That's one of the few things they agree on.

And I also said that I do not want to argue about it. I will just say there are at least two sides to every conflict and only one side is being heard here.
