Brazilian actually, Russia abstained and US vetoed. Makes sense now, a day later. Biden wanted to "open up humanitarian aid" during his visit to Israel to be a big peacemaker. Didn't want to let the UN get credit. 20 trucks of aid and only let US passport holders leave Gaza; "Let's go Brandon!"
Hamas seems to have a lot of US weaponry. From Afghanistan or Ukraine you think?
The main outcome of Biden's visit to Israel was to give them full approval on war crimes. At this point, I am not falling for the accusation the hospital was "likely" destroyed by an errant IJH missile. Under such drastic conditions, who would put out a "likely" conclusion. Appalling.

I watch Al Jazeera also and some of their crew was caught in the crossfire with 2 killed. Rest assured that there will be no cease fire until the job is done and Hamas is dealt with.

So says the US and fuck what everyone else thinks, we will abuse our power of veto. Not really in the spirit of the UN. Do you really support this siege of Gaza to exterminate it's inhabitants? No power, food, water, medicine, passage and now international action/ intervention thanks to the power of veto of one country.
The excuse? Didn't specifically state that Israel has the right to defend itself, which is common UN recognised law anyway der duh. In the army we used to say "Oh look, he's the only one in step"
