In 2016 people imagined that the office would force Trump to grow up. We know better now. He's incapable of maturing.

@Flyingsaucesir I admit I underestimated how incompetent he would be, and registered to vote for the first time in decades in 2020. I think it would be a disaster if he got reelected. That being said, "Vote for Biden because he's not Trump" barely squeaked him by in 2020. I think people should focus more on positive reasons to vote for Biden, like protecting health care, abortion rights, and LGTB rights for starters.

@Druvius I agree, and there is much to Joe's credit. Would I like to see a slightly younger version of him? Sure. But his advanced age alone is not a reason to withhold my vote.

Recovery? What exactly is so bad? The US economy is growing faster than most other OECD countries. The unemployment rate is low. The only weakness I see is the national debt, but let's be honest: would a Republican POTUS/Congress reduce the debt? They never did in the past, quite the opposite, Reagan, Bush, Trump.... have increased the national debt.

@Trajan61 Inflation is bad, that's sure, but after the COVID crisis and the war in UKR, inflation is a global phenomenon. We have had it here in Europe too. In Victor Orban's Hungary (one of Trump's buddies !), inflation was over 20 %.
Currently, the inflation rate in the US is 3.2 %. You cannot really complain about this !
In the UK, with Conservatives at the helm, it's 4.6 %.
You should look for another reason why you hate the Biden administration....

@Thibaud70 A John Deere swather I purchased for less than 100,000 thousand dollars in 2015 now cost 250,000 thousand dollars and almost all of that inflation has occurred since Biden took over so where in the hell are you coming up with 3.2%? The cost of equipment and vehicles has skyrocketed since Biden took over. With Trump we had the best foreign policy we’ve had in many years with Pompeo as Secretary of State and relative peace around the world. With Biden’s idiotic appeasement policy agains Iran and his weakness we have wars in the Middle East and the Ukraine and it’s liable to get worse when the Chinese take Taiwan.

You're not wrong. 70+ million idiots voted for the Done Cheato in 2020. Most of them are unaware that Fox "news" paid out $780 million for promulgating Combover Caligula's Big Lie; they still think the election was stolen. And even though Joe Biden got 7 million more votes than Orange Foolius, his victory in the electoral college came down to only 40-something thousand votes in a few purple precincts. So I am by no means at ease here.
