There is a lot of truth in that. I cannot vouch for Einstein saying it but it sounds more right today, I think. We take up sides today and get our news and opinions from different feeds. Trump started a lot of this to confuse us. I hate that it seems to be working.

Sometimes I feel like I have lived too long and it is just getting steadily worse. And then I remember I have to keep fighting to make it better for the grands.

Huh? Your grands are how you get even with your kids.(grin.)
Never give up! Imagine what people felt like as the Civil War ramped up? Or WW I and Ii? Think of the people in Ukraine every time you hear a plane overhead and don’t have to look for cover. Good times come and go just like bad. And sometimes one person’s good times are another person’s bad. All you need to do is stay in the game and hope your tribe comes out on top.
@yvilletom It has been awesome to hear about the sleepless nights, and meltdowns in public, and all the other kidlet things. BTDT, got the T-shirts. But I want the kidlets to grow up in a safe world. Two of them live in the Netherlands, no school shootings over there, among other benefits. It is a hard thing to have them so far away, but they do lots of things better across the pond than we do in the US.
@Gwendolyn2018 I know that fear.
