The role of Ivermectin 6 mg in parasitic infections is pivotal, as it stands out as a potent antiparasitic medication widely employed for the treatment and prevention of various parasitic infestations. With its roots in veterinary medicine, Ivermectin has transitioned into a crucial tool for combating parasitic diseases in humans. Administered in a 6 mg dosage, it targets a spectrum of parasites, including nematodes and certain arthropods. Its mode of action involves disrupting the nervous system of these parasites, leading to their paralysis and eventual death. Ivermectin has proven particularly effective against onchocerciasis (river blindness) and lymphatic filariasis, contributing significantly to global health initiatives. As ongoing research explores its potential applications beyond its established uses, the role of Ivermectin 6 mg in parasitic infections remains dynamic, emphasizing its significance in the broader landscape of infectious disease management.
Sorry but it is only good as an anti-parasitic and even after years of testing has NO other discernible use. Actually they tried it out as a possible anti-viral but they found that it wasn't effect unless you were dosed with enough to endanger your own health.... they also found that those being tested often ended up becoming sterile.... So by all means try it and win with Darwin....
Ivermectin is NOT approved for treating COVID-19.
COVID-19 is NOT a parasitic disease. But I'm sure you know that.
@jlynn37 Yes, I do. But the implied subtext of the post is that Ivermectin is safe, so go ahead and use it against COVID-19.
@Flyingsaucesir Numerous Clinical Trials in animals show the dose must be closely regulated, enough to prevent the parasite worms from living but too much will kill the dog or cow (or whatever) due to causing enlarged heart.
And in fact several humans taking gawdknowshowmuch to prevent Covid have died from enlarged hearts.
In New Zealand, Ivermectin is approved for use in humans to treat an intestinal disease caused by roundworm (strongyloidiasis), certain parasites in blood or tissue, or for scabies after prior treatment has failed.
Stromectol is the only medicine containing ivermectin that is approved for human use in New Zealand.
Also available as a pour on for cattle and deer….
