I haven't found this to be a dating site but good luck. At least you can meet like minded people.

1

Very handsome...good luck

2

unless you meet someone on the site that is atheist, ignostic or a bunch of other labels people go by here. WElcome

@StarvinMarvin not my word but there are people here using that term, me I pretty much don't go to church

@StarvinMarvin I don't pay a lot of attention to esoteric labels

2

Some areas have more dating opportunities than others. Welcome to the site.

..roc-n-soc drum throne with the back rest, my choice as well, some guitars, maybe an Ibanez or two, very cool. As far as dating, I don't feel, as an atheist/Buddhist, that my girl has to believe exactly how/what I believe, as long as we gel, it's all good. Rock on!!

2

what record are you playing?

2

A good start at least.

You're

hahahaha.....grammar police alert....I mean, grammmerr.....

I had a Lutheran minister answer my personal ad, surprisingly opened minded and we had a good talk. She was looking for someone more conventional that would suit her image/ congregation so we parted amicably. Too bad, I got the feeling we could have been a good fit.

Not much to say beyond that though. Except making fun of religious people I guess.

1

Also if you are both into Radiohead 🙂

Hi, Marc..welcome to the website! Cute photo.

You'll earn points and help people get to know you better if you write your profile and answer the profile questions, since that's the first place many people look when they see a new member.

Then you make comments and write your own posts for more points, and when you reach level two, you can private message people.

I guess that's an important thing in America where religion is pushed hard in so many facets of life. Here in Australia religion isn't a major consideration........ but it's still quite difficult to find compatible others

Copy that cobber. I don't know a single Australian who is religious.

@Palindromeman No we're not! We also don't like being called 'Cobber' 😉

@Abbelyne Maaaaate! I live in Goulburn!

@Abbelyne I agree our racial politics are rat shit. Our politics and our politicians are rat shit. We have a shameful history of how we treat our indigenous peoples. Our flag is fucking rat shit. But, still and all, nothing is better than the sound of a magpie warbling.

@Palindromeman Ooops.... I didn't realise you're a Cobber yourself....... I kind of assume everyone on here is American! Yep I know Goulburn......... used to own land out near Towrang.......... and lived in the hills about 10km out of Moruya.

@Palindromeman Lol......... you really have made me laugh out loud 😀

@Abbelyne Yep, I know an XB Falcon from an A9X Torana 🙂

Good to meet fellow Aussies here.

@Abbelyne what does "cobber" mean?

@btroje It's a slang expression for an Australian 🙂

@Abbelyne but why is it offensive?

@Abbelyne @Palindromeman it's cool as heck to read attitude in written word, but usually I only see it in Americans. It felt like Abbelyne threw Pal a straight on punch! hahaha I'm getting to know something about the folks 'down under'.
Is that slang? Is it my turn for a knock out punch?

@crazycurlz Crazy, we have so much slang here that non-Australians/non-New Zealanders wouldn't get.

For instance, if you told me you were rooting for your team I would get the giggles.

@Palindromeman lol is rooting NAUGHTY! cause it sounds naughty when you say it.

@crazycurlz Crazy, when you are "rooting" in Australia, it's not about supporting your team...

Unless you are rooting a member of your team.

@crazycurlz Hehehe........ I thought he was an American trying to put on an Aussie 'accent' 😉

@btroje Oh it's not really offensive B........more the kind of expression that would be used for a man though. Non-Aussies often try to use our slang.......it sounds quite funny sometimes especially when they have a strong accent of their own ........

@Palindromeman That's vital-to-life information P 😉 It's good to meet you too!

@crazycurlz Okay. Just to clarify. When a woman and a man in Australia really love each other - or they are absolutely completely drunk - they will engage in sexual intercourse. Known here as "rooting". As a side bar, if some piece of machinery is not working, that is also regarded as "rooted" too. Funny old thing, language.

@crazycurlz, @Abbelyne Copy that, mate!

@Palindromeman Unless you're doing it at a football match 😉

@Palindromeman Beautifully explained !

Sorry that may be the only thing you have in common and perhaps you cannot agree fully on that either. So where do you live, since we are both agnostics?

1

And there you have it in nutshell !!
