I don't care much and won't be watching it. I do feel bad for the bride though. I heard that her dad won't be coming to the wedding and walking her down the aisle.

I care. You know, I just want to see all the hilarious hats and tiaras. I don't make excuses for myself. But given a choice of royalty between the British royals and Jarvanka, give me the House of Windsor every single time.

What wedding? Do I know these people? Should I know or even care? ???

It's a rare opportunity to see what the world looks like without any morons wandering around in it.

Honestly I wouldn’t even know it was going on if I didn’t read this post lol.

I know it's happening, but I don't follow it enough to know when. I'll catch reports on TV, stuff will come across Facebook, and I might pick up a celebrity magazine when it's over. I'd say I have a healthy curiosity and interest. I'm not star-struck, but I do like both of them. I like the young man that Harry has become. I enjoy the pageantry. And I suppose that my inner 7-year-old still dreams of marrying a prince.

Any notions I had of fairytale weddings went out the window with Charles and Diana. But the English feel that they get their money's worth from the royal family. They really seem to get off on the pomp and ceremony. I think we should be past all that nonsense (not that democracy is anything wonderful these days) but that the heck, it's their money.

As an Australian "living in exile", so to speak, I get a real kick out of the interest in All Things Royal around here. I like to remind my American friends that they fought a revolution to get away from these people who they now esteem. Look in your local bookstore; there are no less than five magazines dedicated to the royal family.

I have no doubt that the Wedding will be a ratings juggernaut, but I know I won't be watching. I will, however, chuckle at the MAGAs, America-Firsters who will be.

I want a Republic. Let them live in social housing and open their palaces to the public.

Personally I find it annoying that humans still "worship" genetics. It is beyond ridiculous how fanatical people are over wealth,power and blood lines. My ex is from England, her grandfather hated the "royal family". In his own words, they are a "Load of rubbash": The whole family is nothing but a bunch of deadbeat leaches!!! I could give a rats ass.......they don't care about me, and I don't care about them.....and I"m okay with that.
