I really hate Walmart. I try not to shop there if at all possible. It only happens 2-3 times a year. Working second shift, it’s the only place still open when I get off work.

Nothing says ‘Murica on Memorial Day weekend like a trip to wallyworld. It looked like a red, white and blue kaleidoscope vomited.

That was one of my promises to myself after I graduated from grad school.

I will never step foot in a Wal-Mart unless there is absolutely no other option within 20 miles.

Your supposed to go just for the entertainment the shoppers provide.

I used to work 12 hour night shifts about 5 years ago. WalMart in the middle of the night is freaky. The fringes of society shop there, and the staff is bored so will tell you their life story if you stop moving. I stopped using Walmart a couple years after that because of their treatment of employees and not wanting to support the richest family in America who was paying employees starvation wages.

It's like stepping into an alternate universe. I've not been in one in years. My heart is too weak.

For me, it's ALWAYS possible to avoid WalMart. The Waltons are awful people and I refuse to give them any of my money.

I agree! It has been years since I set foot in a Walmart.

I don't like to admit it, but I have a love/hate relationship with Walmart. Hate to say it, but I've found some good deals there on decent stuff that I couldn't find anywhere else. Despise their customer service and business practices. I will usually check out other retailers before I would end up there.

I refuse to shop there. Although an hour or so perusing the customers is entertaining.

I've been boycotting WalMart for years. I mean, it does just about as much good as boycotting Nestlé, but it makes me feel mildly good to say that I don't shop there

I've boycotted Wal-Mart since 2004; I REFUSE to shop there!

I live in Australia and my ethics even dictate that I would never shop in Walmart. Btw if you have a time constraint problem that forces you to shop there PD, couldn't you shop online somewhere else and get it delivered?

Walmart is a very pleasant place to shop if you buy online and only go there to pick up.

It's a hideously unethical multinational.......

Everybody in the US should ban going to Walmart. They treat their staff horribly.

@Crimson67 Congratulations on your son's success!

@germangirl90439 I am happy for your daughter but are they paying her a wage that she can live on independently and what about health care?

@germangirl90439, @doug6352 Your son is indeed very fortunate, but not all of their employees are treated that way, no matter how good they are.

My neighbors across the Lake definitely stocked up on Fireworks.

The cats and I would like to give them a single finger salute!

What's that got to do with rubbishing Walmart RCT 😉

@Abbelyne WalMart carries fireworks here.

@RavenCT Ah ha, so the single finger salute is for WalMart ........not the neighbours?

@Abbelyne Both!

@RavenCT Hehehehe......... I have a funny image in my head of a row of cats staring out across a lake while all giving a single finger (toe) salute 😉
