Don't do fairy tales.

My wife believes that she will live well into her 90's and so my wish is that for however long she does that she experiences good health, the type that provides her with the energy to keep up with and enjoy our growing family..

To go back to being me 20 years ago knowing what I know now.
Or an end to all thinking that accepts any form of magic as a real life possibility.
Though... if I went back 20 years I could surely find this wish again 20 years later and have both granted!

I'd have goddesslike powers....first, I'd clean up the planet...the oceans would be pristine again, polar ice caps would be restored and there would be NO endangered species because they'd all be in healthy ecological condition.

The air would be clean, rivers would be clear and those Texas-sized clumps of garbage in the ocean would simply disappear.

Anyone who contributes to trashing the environment, killing animals for ''sport'' or preying on vulnerable individuals would be vaporized.

Then, all violent ''conservatives'' would vanish, along with their automatic weapons, their bomb-toting backpacks and their file racist thinking.

Anyone who attempts to enforce religion would have the opportunity to meet their ''god.''

Did I mention we'd all have ''green'' energy?

That airlines would rip out rows of seats and restore that RADICAL SERVICE called "ample leg room?"

Nobody would be pregnant if she doesn't wish a child and there would be no such thing as sexual abuse (of adults OR children.)

The treasonous groper in the White House would simply vanish, along with his oligarchic, dishonest, greedy friends.

Everyone would have free education in their field of choice and every young person would be provided with a "gap" year...to travel, see the world and learn just how limited our USA-centric attitudes can be.

Acne, menopausal hot flashes and intestinal gas would disappear, along with traffic jams, UTIs and arthritis!

This is fun....champagne and lobster for everyone! (Passing out the goddess robes...come on, friends...let's launch thunderbolts at Mar A Lago!)

For the world to have 85% of my sex vanish from the face of Planet Earth; starting with political and religious leaders and teachers, followed by those most susceptible to acting out violently when confronted with facts. If 85% cuts deeply enough to include me, SO BE IT!

Surviving males would also benefit from a more natural status, doing what we are better equipped for than leadership. That being peer status as breeders, protectors and secondary providers. The ratio would assure majority female leadership and a higher value placed on men for awhile; long enough to prevent any future notions about male supremacy.

One wish. o.k. maybe only 80% 🙂

Wow, that is hard, so many things. But the thing I want most is enough money to be able to retire now and not have to worry about anything financially for the rest of my life.

@JustKip I hear ya! I need to stay employed until I qualify for Medicare, if Medicare is still there. Then I will consider if I want to stay employed until the "official" retirement age, which right now is something like 66 and 9 months.

@JustKip Very good, I agree. Waiting is hard, enduring is hard. But we do and we get through.
