I've got the munchies!
What's in your fridge?
Yogurt, pineapple, salmon, baby carrots, water, strawberries, corn & milk.
Watermelon juice, mango pieces, kale (lots), endive, vegan lime yogurt, water.
Some nasty cheap koolade bottled ripoff, some salsa with mold on it, a couple pinches of some crunchy shredded cheese in the bottom of the bag, a yellow squash all wrinkled up, an empty peanut butter bottle, some soy sauce, ketchup and various condiments from restaurants, some water bottles, empty box of crackers, napkins, a receipt. Some jelly.
Last night, I made a copy cat recipe of the Cheesecake Factory Chicken Piccata and it's delicious with angel hair pasta. Still got a bunch of it left along with salad with homemade vinaigrette. If you come over with a bottle of Chardonnay I'll toast some garlic bread and we have a square meal. ?
Actually lots, but nothing to munch on. I am single but like to cook and use mostly organic and, from scratch, items. There is some sprouted Bean/Kale/Yam stew, Brown Rice, Minestrone soup, GF breads, frozen Blueberries, Green Bean & Rice mixture, Coconut yoghurt, a Tapioca and dried fruit concotion I make, Kambucha and a lot of salad, home-canned preserves and on and on.
It was my day off. I had the munchies all day. So... nothing. ?
Saute vegetables, mixed carrots, finger link potatoes, brussel sprouts, and mushroom. Some grilled chickens with harissa. Some mixed green, parisian ham, greek and icelandic yogurts. I have some spinach wrap. Lactose free milk and 2 little bottles of bitter tonic water for my Pimms.
All this food is organic.
All that from memories. Because I buy only what I am going to eat. I buy fresh, therefore I do not stock food.
Leftovers from the long weekend party. The outside fridge in the Tiki Bar/Cocktail Lounge is full of beer.
That's easy..no fridge here in my Songkhla, Thailand, apartment.
I do have a small cooler which holds ice, and this morning I had a kowtomaht roll (sticky rice wrapped around a minced mixed fruit center, all wrapped in banana leaves, and roasted) and a bag with a piece of fuktong squash (dunno the English name), a few pieces of some kind of lettuce, and a slice of corn on the cob in the cooler.
But I already ate it all for lunch. I bought the bag of squash and stuff from a sidewalk vendor early this morning for 4 baht (12 cents).
For breakfast, I had a single serving of canned mackerel, so don't need a fridge for that. I have a medium Nestles chocolate ice cream cannister in the apartment building office freezer. I'm not supposed to use it, but the lady manager is doing me a favor.
Not much.
Moving in a few days.
Split the last hunk of chocolate cake with ya tho.
