There are more talented people out there who need a break in show business. I have no sympathy for her and 'Roseanne' was never that funny.

That show should had never been brought back in the first place. What was abc thinking? A new, old, improved, matured mad cow in the racist downlow? About all people losing their livelyhood, they will find another gig. And that is what happens when you associate with racist.... for the money or because you too are a racist that enjoyed the opportunity of a racist enterprise. RACISM IS NOT A SIDE EFFECT.

Yes and no. I think rather than canceling the show they should use this in the show and have her tv family deal with it instead of everyone getting punished with her. Also, I would like to know why we are suddenly holding celebrities accountable for their hate speech but letting the president say some extremely hateful things. Why is Roseanne being held accountable to the cost of her career but not Trump? I truly do not see why the leader gets to slide on non-stop hate speech that emboldens people like Roseanne. Trump made this acceptable and that needs to be addressed first.

I have somewhat mixed feelings about it. It seems like we've become a mob justice society with "justice" executed by corporations that are more doing things because of fear of consumers and that is a slippery slope. Americans need to talk to each other more and empathize with each other more... so this is another step in the wrong direction. Political correctness and the rebellion against it is what got us Donald Trump in the first place.

She most definitely deserved what she got. The rest of the cast didn't deserve what she did to them, though.

I stopped watching the original series after they stopped showing that huge can of corn in the pantry. Is there toast? I haven't heard what Valerie Jaret (sp?) did to Roseanne to deserve her ite; can anyone fill me in?

Roseanne really was never all that bright. I feel sorry for the rest of the cast though.

I think when her first show started she was more liberal, but when she became famous she went conservative. Her politics reflects her primary concern of self interest, which explains her support of Trump to some extent. However, if you hang around conservatives, racial slurs become normalized, and lettign herself fall into that mindset was her own fault. She forgot the hard times of her earlier life, before fame, and let herself lose her empathy for those who have difficult lives.

If she were smart, I'd say she got what she deserved, but i don't think she is all that bright, but I'd also say the person she has become is not a good person either.

Yes she opened her mouth and put her foot in it. Ambien as excuse? Please spare me. I actually was watching the new season because of some of the controversial subject matterefending muslim neighbors, possibillity of transgendered grandson, pro-marijuana, anti prescription drugs, single birth surrogacy, etc. She blew it.
