Today is my 53rd birthday........I don't FEEL 53! Time goes by so quickly, folks; don't spend it trying to pelase others....please, and take care, of yourself first!
I'm spending my day doing a few hours of work, then going to a French bakery/restaurant with friends for REALLY good French Press coffee and pastries, then this evening I'll be having pie (hey, it's my birthday........I deserve sweets!) and festivities with my family.
I hope all of you are having a wonderful day........celebrate my big day with dessert, and thanks for being such a great community!

Happiest of birthdays to you! I know the felling of realizing one's age. I am 71 and simply cannot believe it. My husband is 80 and I wonder how this happened? Time is a precious commodity. Enjoy every second.

I can almost remember 53; I was probably in about the best physical shape of my life at that age, due to lots of mountainbiking.
