Rehydrating makes up a good chunk of my weekend. Yardwork and some things I just didnt do during the week.
Sunday I watch football in the fall

Weekends are for doing stuff i never got around to during the week.

Since I retired, I have trouble distinguishing between days of the week. Sunday is still laundry day, so I know which day that is. Don't know what day is my day off. All of 'em? None of 'em?

I’m retired so can relax every day. On Sundays I buy the Sunday papers and spend most of the day reading them.

My routine is the same everyday..... Make it to the next

Sometimes doing nothing is the greatest thing

Weekends are just another day of the week for me.

I work 40 hours in three days and cry about being exhausted. I haven't had a proper weekend in what feels like years.

They have pills for that ?

On Saturday and Sunday, I do a 90 to 120 minute bike ride. Also on Sunday, I get my groceries.

Saturday: work until 2. Get groceries, errands. Cleaned the main rooms of the house
Sunday: make a huge 2pm meal. Then binge watch my DVR/Netflix/TPB list

My life is one long weekend and I love it.

I'm up, as I am every day, at 3:30 AM, then sip cho-wa tea and eat some spicy Thai sardines, and locally baked fish crisp chips from here in Songkhla, Thailand.

I ride my "gallopers" up and down the long hallway, and do 10 pull-ups in my room, climb the stairs to my 5th floor just for exercise. I steam a sticky rice roll with crushed fruit center, baked in banana leaves at 7:30 AM (19 cents) .

At 8:30 AM, I walk to a local vendor stall and purchase a slice of cooked squash, a slice of corn on the cob, and a few lettuce greens, all for 4 baht (12 cents).

I am looking at birds along the way, and at 10 AM I walk the 14 block round trip to Tesco-Lotus Songkhla, to get a KFC ice cream cone and slice of chocolate brownie cake from a Thai bakery, where I sit and read from my Kindle app on a Huawei tablet.

I walk everywhere since I sold my motorbike, and exotic birds are everywhere also. I often take cheap local songtheaw bus/pickup trucks downtown and to nearby locations.

On Sundays (today, here in Thailand) I sometimes go to the huge downtown outdoor marker for certain purchases.

I read Kindle books and watch Netflix.

I think I need to come and visit you.

@Jolanta Sure..the weather is perfect, and so is the Thai food!

@birdingnut Maybe next year. I have just come back from my big holiday this year.

@Jolanta Wait. Don't you live in warm, sunny Canberra? I skipped visiting there when I was in Australia and Tasmania in 2005 but as far as I could see, Australia is a birding paradise. Thailand has you beat in prices, of course, but I ate in Chinatown in Sydney and the cost was low.

I am retired, so weekends are the same as any other days.

I abhor routine! Weekends are for winging it, doing whatever I want. Often that = cooking with leisure, (instead of rushing), getting the sleep that I want, spending time with my pets, etc.

p.s. i am capable of making my own typos but i KNOW i didn't type what the system substituted for "don't" and now that i have edited to correct it, i don't know what else the system will change! pardon me if anything else weird pops up!
