Are you the kind of person who could forgive two-faced people?

I just can’t do it lol.

Forgiveness is for the benefit of the forgiver. Not the forgiven. The forgiven can not be permitted close enough to repeat the offence. Forgiven does not mean one can repeat the slight. Thusly I forgive my parents because "they no not what they do", but they can not ever be in my life again being as toxic as they are. And unrepentant of ever asking for my forgiveness.

No, I can't stand people like that. At the first signs of them showing me how they are, I cut off all ties. I've been drama free for years

6

Nope. They prove they have no integrity, and withour integrity, they are nothing and a no-one to me.

Forgiveness lets you let go of anger and hurt
Forgetfulness allows you to be exploited again
One can forgive and recall, forgetfulness is not required or desired

I simply stick with the native American phrase ' no-person'.

6

Not really. Certain things break my trust forever, that's one of them.

Forgive? Maybe. Forget? Not for one second!

No you will find out most are

4

No. If I can't trust the person, I want nothing to do with him or her.

4

No. That's who they are. They don't deserve forgiveness.

Ellatynemouth of course, they don't deserve forgiveness but you deserve the quiet.

4

No.. I wish I was that type of person... but I have zero tolerance for that sort of bullshit.

4

Sure but the also register as not to be trusted and not of a quality I want in my life. Forgive yes, and feel sorry for. It makes me wonder just what the hell happened in their life to turn them into such ass hats.

"The fool forgets but does not forgive

An average person forgives and forgets

The wise forgive, but they do not forget."

If someone who has deliberately wronged me makes a genuine apology, I'll try to forgive them - though of course, some things can never be forgiven. But, I'll never entirely trust them again.

I once had to explain to an adult friend why simply apologizing didn't fix things. I ended up breaking a plate and telling them to apologize to the plate. Sadly, they finally got it.

Some people, I tell ya.

Not really. My ex had 3 or 4 faces. That just got confusing, and gave me a headache.

I forgive once.

I'd forgive them, but keep them at a safe distance in the future.
