This generally plays well in Mississippi. I guess the risk to their public images caused the corporate moneymen to reconsider. That's not really how it's supposed to work, but I'll take it.

Totally agree-she's a POS. Hope she loses -Trump endorsing her today-hope his plane crashes.

That's a good sign. They are supporting the majority, which is good for business.

She’s an unapologetic racist.

I don't think the woman is just tone deaf. I think she let her true flag fly; the one emblazoned with an image of a tree bearing strange fruit.

Here are the lyrics to the song that was performed by the late great jazz singer, Billy Holiday:

Southern trees bear strange fruit
Blood on the leaves and blood at the root
Black bodies swinging in the southern breeze
Strange fruit hanging from the poplar trees
Pastoral scene of the gallant south
The bulging eyes and the twisted mouth
Scent of magnolias, sweet and fresh
Then the sudden smell of burning flesh
Here is fruit for the crows to pluck
For the rain to gather, for the wind to suck
For the sun to rot, for the trees to drop
Here is a strange and bitter crop

Songwriters: Lewis Allan / Maurice Pearl / Dwayne P Wiggins
