It is now widely accepted that the asteroid strike was only a contributory factor and the main cause was massive volcanic activity in India which pumped massive amounts of CO2 in to the atmosphere resulting in a rise in temperature

It's not just that many species are dying off but also that the different species are becoming out of balance. This includes humans. So what do we do about it? Take action in a reasoned practical manor or pray?
