US: 23% are not affiliated to an organised religion. Less than 1/4.
UK: 53% are not affiliated to an organised religion. Over 1/2.
The US still has a long way to go. Of course we can all do better
Sounds like Catholicism needs to double down on its breeding programme.
Religion is slowly collapsing in on itself under the weight of reason and science.
We don't need a black president, we don't need a female president, etc etc etc... What we need is a hard core truly secular president.
@Antifred That's your opinion, thanks for your comment..... I do believe it's true that you can bring a horse to the river but can't make it drink the water....or something within those lines. Knowledge is now available like it has never been before, but it has, it does and it will take always hard work to acquire. No shortcut for that one.
Don't you think that this is a case where the three in one priciple would be good.
... keeping in mind that claiming no religion is not the same as disbelieving in any deities.
