However---as we move through life, we find many theists who are loving, mellow people who live and let live. My own grandmother was such a woman. Whenever I see the acts of "Islamists" or Christian imperialists, etc, I remember my grandmother.

Are all theists kind, loving and dedicated to helping others? HELL, NO! But many are and we can't forget them.

If you hate theists why you put a shock meme on Islam only? Do you know how many people have died in the name of Christianity? Do you know about Crusades and Inquisition?

You cannot hate a whole section of society for the wrongs perpetrated by individuals. This woman’s father did a despicably criminal act by maiming his daughter in this way, he is lacking in human feeling towards his own flesh and blood, and his actions must be condemned by all right minded people, but I cannot see that you can blame all people who believe in god for his actions.

I tend to think of that as more the work of a psychopath who happens to be a theist. A mentally stable theist isn't going to do something that unbalanced. The problem is there's a lot of mentally unstable people out there and many of them have found god.

As I get older, I tolerate theists less and less.

All I learned as a Christian for the first 23 years of my life was to hate everyone else, to look down on them, to discriminate against others, to make them want to be like us or else. Of course, it was all worded differently. I don't necessarily hate all theists. I do despise the ones that use religion to justify oppression and harm to others. To all the others, I just roll my eyes when they bring up religion. Still with others, religion is not even discussed.

Omg. Especially Islamic theists----whose juvenile rump offshoot religion is even more deformed than Christianity and Judaism combined!
Sorry if this flies in the face of group think, but Trump's anti-Islam attitude is the only thing I agree with him about.
They are so inbred and retarded I cannot stand the sight of a burka walking tent or a 'holy' Koran. If I could burn ONE book and by so doing make it go away forever, that would be that one, with stiff competition from the...other one from that general area. Apparently that particular barren wilderness plays funny tricks with the mind.

I do not hate the people who are brainwashed and scammed by religion. Rather, I pity them. What I hate is the scam itself.

You don’t have to hate someone and hate what they’ve done. Defining someone by a particular title is effectively inaccurate and goes a long way to creating a bias. So they’re religious. Look at them wholly. Typically no single act is ever simple. That doesn’t excuse this, and I’d hope no atheist/agnostic would do something like this, but I have enough experience of the human condition to realize that’s probably wrong. Open your mind, try to empathize with other view points, be realistic.

Hate doesn’t help anything and I don’t think religion was even the cause of that incident. So now you have misplaced hate, which demonstrates my first point.

Why do Middle East radical Islamics expect secularism from European nations?

I'm disgusted by Middle Eastern Islamic zealots, BUT they are more true to their faith than Christian zealots, which shows the slow yet, persuasive secular influence unfolding. It just needs to creep deeper into the Middle East.
