Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.I'll make the other connection, both major parties are owned by those same corporations, so we've had no enforcement of anti-trust laws for decades, and we won't get any help from either party about the price gouging and greed of those corporations now either. Wake up, people, collectively, and start voting out both parties in DC. Until then, we may as well shut up and eat our gruel that we're being served by all of those colluding groups above...

Corporate Profits have been flat since October 2021.
The current inflation is not being caused by an increase in corporate profits.

@glennlab Look at the graph. Corporate profits went up 25% from June 2021 through October 2021. That was a result of coming out of Covid lockdown. Corporate profits have been flat since October 2021, so you could say an increase in corporate profits played a role in inflation from June 2021 to October 2021, but it has played no role in inflation since October 2021.
