Don't forget to give Biden his deserved blame for leaving all those Trump appointees in place, but that's not so much a lack of spine in Biden, it's the fact that he's really more of a DINO Repub than a Dem, and always has been....
@TomMcGiverin Biden is way way better than Trump, but his judgement has been extremely poor, and given his access to information, what is the excuse? He wasted 15 months hoping to reach out and build bridges to the right wing, meaning that the agenda that got passed was only a fraction of what he hoped to get passed. He trusted Manchin and Sinema, or said he did, and they played their parts, but again, all that time wasted on kabuki that didn't work. This system functions far too poorly for anyone's endorsement. For Biden to run again can't be claimed to be doing it for our benefit. Any of 20 dems would do better in '24 than Biden. Shame on his megalomania.
@racocn8 I don't attribute it to poor judgement, I think Biden was simply doing what he intended to all along, when he said, "Nothing will fundamentally change", to a private meeting of rich donors, during the Dem primaries. How hard is it to believe someone when they tell you honestly who they are and what their plans are? The wasted 15 months of bogus, illusions of bipartisanship were simply Biden posturing and providing himself cover for not delivering on any of his campaign promises made publicly to voters, same as him pretending to trust Manchin and Sinema, his co-conspirators and fellow phonies, who took the blame for him, by blocking things Biden was never behind in the first place and never supported. Biden needs to go as the nominee, and anybody would be better than him.
As Lily Tomlin used to say, " You can never be cynical enough. I keep trying and trying, but I just can't keep up with how cynical it takes to see what is going on", or something like that..
My prediction for 2024, is that if the DNC is corrupt and stupid enough to run Biden or Harris as the nominee, we will get DeSantis for prez in two years, Dog help us....
