Multivariate analysis showed that individuals exposed to cats had increased risk of confirmed asthma compared to individuals in the control group (RR: 3.24; 95% confidence interval : 1.31 to 7.99) (Table 2).
According to her death certificate obtained by E! News, White died of a cerebrovascular accident, or a stroke. She suffered the stroke six days before she died.
If exposure to cats was part of that, there was no evidence to that effect and she lived to 99 despite proximity to cats.
