He should just drop out now. Personally, I'd be mortified if something so awful came out of my mouth and was witnessed by the world. I'd apologize profusely, make some very generous donations and crawl under a rock to live out the rest of my days.

Geez. Democrats who base their candidate choice on "electability" oughta realize that Trump will eat Biden alive in a debate. Trump is quick on his feet, Biden not so much, as he's proven time and time again. He can't even speak solo without fucking up.

All in the first tier of the Democratic candidates know fully well that it is a matter of time that Biden falters and starts sinking... no matter how much DNC supports him. With every debate and every rally, that chance increases.
The first obvious beneficiary of his implosion will be Elizabeth Warren, not Berinie or Kamaha Harris.
