Sorry but not everything is B & W. When I volunteered for an important city park in Seattle the person in charge of maintaining the grounds once asked me to accompany him to document a small homeless campsite in a corner of the park. He had to place an eviction notice and give the campers so many days to leave. There were serious health and trash issues and if we let is slide others would come in. Later, they claimed they weren't given proper notice but I was a witness. I have known a couple of homeless people and they basically just wanted to be left alone to do their 'own thing.' Sometimes 'their own thing' includes drugs and/or alcohol or even mental health.

The first is not "more appropriate," but serves a greater purpose than ripping down the only home many have.

#1 is appropriate. No one should have to be homeless, especially in the U.S. Every homeless person in the U.S. is a failure of our society. There's enough money to easily eliminate all homelessness or get those that need it the proper healthcare they need.

#1. You should check out the community they built in San Antonio called Haven For Hope. They provide shelter and more to help people get back on their feet. Google it. All metro areas should have a facility like this.

There's a very strong conservative contingent in Seattle that lacks compassion. Anti-homelessness, but also anti needle exchange. They're horrible people.

Yeah, if the report a tent brought people that would help the person get back on their feet, provide living quarters, and other assistance (like they have instituted in some cities) then it's a really good thing, who knows though without researching.

There should be an abode swap option for the Karens and the Cunts of this world so that people without conscience can experience how the other half lives. Judge not lest ye get a punch in the face.

I hate the way the homeless are treated. The first one is appropriate, the second one isn't.
